Rancho Santana has miles of trails among our 2,700 acres of land. You’ll catch breathtaking views of tropical dry forest, rugged coastline, and open sea. We have Nicaragua hiking trails for all activity levels, from easy ambles to hardcore hikes.
Among our favorites: Hike to Playa Escondida and end at the wild and remote beach for a celebratory swim and a visit to our turtle sanctuary. Or, take a more leisurely hike along the Playa Los Perros loop and venture deep into the jungle and tropical dry forest. We also recommend a night hike, ideal for any age and adventure level. Immerse yourself in nature with only the moonlight and a flashlight to illuminate your way as one of our guides points out the beauty of Nicaraguan nature.
