Join us for a joyful, hands-on exploration of a beloved Nicaraguan tradition: Jícaro painting, led by acclaimed artist Augusto Silva. This family-friendly event invites participants of all ages to connect with Nicaragua’s cultural heritage while expressing their creativity on jícaro gourds—natural canvases traditionally used in decorative and functional art across the country.
Under Augusto Silva’s expert guidance, you’ll learn basic painting techniques. Whether you’re an experienced painter or picking up a brush for the first time, this is a chance to slow down, create something meaningful, and share a memorable moment with your loved ones.
All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
