Masaya Volcano Night Tour

December 23rd, 30th and January 2nd, 2019

Experience one of the most active volcanoes in the world right here in Nicaragua, “The Land of Lakes and Volcanoes.”  Enjoy a 1 kilometer hike adjacent to the lava flow of Masaya Volcano’s many explosions and learn about the history of the country’s volcanic activity at the on-site museum.

A close view of the Masaya Volcano’s crater can easily be accessed by vehicle, and at night offers visitors a rare and incredible view of lava bubbling in the mouth of the crater below. Later, enjoy dinner in the colonial city of Granada at one of their many great restaurants.

Rancho Santana Masaya Night Tour

Includes transportation, guide, park entrance, dinner, and non-alcoholic beverages. Tour departs from Rancho Santana at 1pm & returns at 11pm. $130/person.

San Juan del Sur Adventure

December 28th, 2018 & January 2nd, 2019

Located south of Rancho Santana, San Juan del Sur has transformed from a sleepy fishing village to a premier travel destination. Now offering a mix of lively culture and tourist amenities, San Juan del Sur is quite the versatile destination.

Our morning will begin in Finca Las Nubes, where we will go off-roading in ATVs followed by zip lining through the San Juan forest, hiking and enjoying wildlife in its habitat. We’ll spend the afternoon at Treecasa resort, enjoy a wonderful lunch, and have a chance to cool off by the pool.

Recommended Apparel: Sporty clothes you are comfortable walking around in and don’t mind getting wet. Bring a towel and bathing suit for swimming!

San Juan del Sur Ziplining Tour

Granada Classic City Tour

December 22nd & 29th, 2018

Drawn by year-round warm weather, colonial-era architecture and Lake Nicaragua, travelers from around the world are flocking to Granada. The tour stops at the Mombacho Volcano for zip lining followed by a tour of the historical city of Granada. Following lunch, enjoy a boat tour around Las Isletas (the lake islands).

Ometepe Classic Tour

December 21st & 27th, 2018

Located in Lake Nicaragua, Ometepe is truly a sight to behold. It is home to not one, but two volcanos, Concepcion and Maderas, which are visible from all parts of the island.

Begin your morning taking in the rich flora and fauna of the island with a short hike at Chaco Verde, then cross over to the clear freshwater springs at Ojo de Agua before grabbing lunch. Then we’ll pass by Finca Magdalena to view ancient petroglyphs and watch the sunset over Lake Nicaragua on the return ferry.

Includes guide, water springs entrance, ferry ticket, light breakfast, lunch, and non-alcoholic beverages.  Tour departs from Rancho Santana at 5:30am and returns at 7pm. $150/person.

Cuascoto Rural Holiday Tour

December 25th, 2018 & January 1st, 2019

Visit the local farms of the Cuascoto Community where you will learn about traditional agricultural practices while participating in a wide variety of activities like picking fruit and planting and harvesting rice, beans, and maize. Enjoy hands on demonstrations of food preparation and authentic Nicaraguan refreshments. Transportation within the community is done in typical Nicaraguan fashion – via Oxcart and horseback.

Mohosa Mountain Picnic Tour

December 26th, 2018

Be on the lookout for monkeys, birds and sloths as we hike one of the highest hillsides in the area.  At the summit, you’ll be rewarded with a family-friendly picnic lunch as you take in the spectacular views of Nicaragua’s many volcanoes and Lake Nicaragua in the distance.
