The Experience

Kick off summer by kicking your surf skills into high gear. This five-day camp is jam-packed with professional coaching, video analysis, on-land and trampoline training, and tons of fun. But best of all, it’s led by former pro surfer Kali Artavia, who is now devoted to mentoring the next generation of talent in Latin America. Join Kali to take your surfing to the next level and chase some of the best waves you’ll ever ride.

The camp is for surfers ages 12-20 years old. The campers need to be able to catch waves by themselves, know how to duck dive, or turtle roll and feel confident surfing without an instructor close by at all times.

When: June 24th – 28th, 2024
Duration: 5 days
Meet: At The Beach & Surf Club at Playa Los Perros
Includes: Lunch
Bring: Swimsuit, hat and water bottle
Price: $175 per day, per participant for the 5-days package | Single-day drop-in for $200 per participant may be possible, depending on availability

About Your Surf Coach:

Originally from Jaco, Costa Rica, Kali Artavia represented his home country in competitions around the world, surfing professionally from 1998-2012. After working with Red Bull to train young surfers in 14 countries around Latin America, Kali began coaching the Costa Rica National Team in 2016. That same year, the team won the country’s first gold at the ISA World Cup. Later in 2022, he coached the Guatemalan National Team. Currently, Kali is the head judge for the Latin American Surfing Association.
